The primary goal of FPSCentral has is three fold:
1) Provide detailed news coverage of FPS game titles, events and modifications on the Internet. This is achieved thourgh a dedicated staff of over twenty experienced journalists who conduct exclusive interviews with some of the most exciting people and development teams in FPS gaming.
2) Provide and maintain game files distribution centers online.
3) Provide a home for unlimited community support and message boards combined into a single cohesive location, one interface allowing to access a network of message boards across each game title.

Creation date: September 2003
Hardware: Three Dual Xeon 2.66 MHz based servers, withstorage capacity of 1,500GB provided by six Hitachi Hard Disk Drives, 6GB of RAM.
Software: Red Hat Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL. C++ and Java Script.
