Hystersisters.com is a woman to woman support website for hysterectomy recovery. It is not intended to take the place of a personal physician. The Hyster Sisters site is neither anti-hyst nor pro-hyst, rather, it is an online community of women who give and receive support for hysterectomy decisions and recovery. Hystersisters.com offers resources and kindness so that our visitors can discover options and make decisions for themselves. Hyster Sisters website consists of the active forums for surgical decisions, cancer concerns, pre-op, post-op, hormone issues, long-term complications and more. Additionally, the website maintains content articles for all aspects of GYN issues and a resource directory. A photo gallery, postcards, a store with merchandise, guestbook and Bedtime Stories are additional features of the site.

Hardware: Dual Xeon 2.88, 4g RAM MYSQL server, Dual Xeon 2.8 2g RAM file server.
Software: Started using "Inside the Web" BB in 1999, moved to EZBoard in Nov 99. UBB in March of 2000 required weekly pruning. Moved to VB in May of 2000.
